<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device capable of satisfactorily ensuring a joint strength, a flexual strength, and the rigidity of a dynamic pressure bearing by ensuring a length of joining between constituent members sufficiently. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This dynamic pressure bearing device has a shaft member 1 and a sleeve 2 rotating relatively for each other. A radial dynamic pressure bearing part 3 is formed between the outer peripheral face of a central shaft 11 and the inner peripheral part of a cylindrical part, and thrust dynamic pressure bearing parts 4, 5 are formed among one end face of the sleeve 2 and opposing faces in the axial direction of the shaft member 1. The sleeve 2 has a peripheral groove, and a cap-like cover 28 blocking the cylindrical part 21 of the sleeve 2 is provided on the other end side of the sleeve 2. The outer peripheral part of the cover 28 is joined with the sleeve 2 in the peripheral groove.
