PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an electric power steering device and to improve the degree of design freedom and assembling property while enabling to eliminate backlash between a worm gear and a worm wheel in the electric power steering device. SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device 10, the worm gear 40 is constantly energized toward the side getting close to the axis of the worm wheel 50 with the end 42A of an end shaft 42 of the worm gear 40 being pressingly supported constantly by part in the peripheral direction of the diametrically expanded inner diameter part 72A of a collar 70 energized by an elastic body 80.
