<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ideal head transfer function from which the effect of a measuring system has been canceled. <P>SOLUTION: In a first step, a microphone is installed at a position near each of both ears of a listener and in a state where a dummy head or a human body exists at a position of the listener, sonic waves generated at a sound source position estimated are picked up by the microphone, thereby measuring a head transfer function. In a second step, in a nature state where neither dummy head nor human body exists, sonic waves generated at the sound source position estimated are picked up by the microphone, thereby measuring a transfer property in the nature state. The head transfer function obtained in the first step is normalized by the transfer property in the nature state measured in the second step, so that a normalized head transfer function is obtained and stored in a normalized head transfer function memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
