<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding method welding a roof board to a rafter member with good yield, without using a placing tool of a complicated shape. <P>SOLUTION: The laser welding method includes a rafter arraying step arraying the rafter member 26, and a roof board placing step placing the roof board 22 on the rafter member 26. Therefore, without using the placing tool of the complicated shape, a flange portion 26a of the rafter member 26 can be made to abut on the roof board 22. The irradiation pitch P2 of a laser beam 34 is made to be coincident with the arraying pitch P1 of the rafter member 26, and the irradiation width W2 of the laser beam 34 is made lager than the abutting width W1 between a bottom surface 22b of the roof board 22 and the flange portion 26a. Consequently, even if the arraying pitch P1 of the rafter member 26 and the irradiation pitch P2 of the laser beam 34 are slightly shifted, the flange portion 26a can be welded to the roof board 22 with good yield. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
