PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus capable of forming a sub-beam in an optional shape by controlling a phase distribution corresponding to the sub-beam. SOLUTION: The antenna apparatus includes a primary radiator arranged opposite to a reflector 2, and has the unevenness of a deformation amountΔs on the reflector 2 so as to obtain a sub-beam in a pencil beam shape in a desired direction other than a main beam direction. In the deformation amountΔs, a length in a direction wherein a radio wave radiated from the phase center F of the primary radiator travels after being reflected by the reflector 2 is represented asΔs=[1/ä2k(e<SB>m</SB>×n)}]tan-1[a<SB>0</SB>×sin(ϕ<SB>0</SB>+ϕ)/ä1+a<SB>0</SB>×cos(ϕ<SB>0</SB>+ϕ)}], and a phaseϕis represented asϕ=C+kρ×(e<SB>R</SB>-e<SB>K</SB>)-Φ.
