The present invention relates to a device for photographing a face. The device comprises a camera, a memory, a display unit, an image analysis unit, and a control unit. The camera captures a front-view image of a subject person in real time, and the image captured by the camera is respectively stored and outputted by a memory and a display unit. When an image is captured at a front-view angle, the image analysis unit generates correction reference information based on feature-point information of the front-view image captured by the camera, wherein the feature-point information includes information about the positions of central points in both pupils, the size of both ears, the positions of eyelids above the central point of the pupils and the positions of the top points of the ears. If the correction reference information satisfies a preset reference range, the control unit stores the front view image in the memory. The device is able to obtain an accurate facial image based on the feature points on the face. In addition, the device is capable of extracting the feature-point image through the image information about an accurately-posed face. Therefore, the device can result in accuracy in image-based medical diagnoses.
