<p>The present invention relates to a method for driving a plasma display panel. The method of the present invention involves raising the gate voltage of a switching element related to the generation and output of sustain pulses, such as a transistor, in a sustain section, thereby reducing switching loss and conduction loss. Therefore, the method of the present invention improves the efficiency of a driving circuit of a plasma display panel to prevent a degradation of the reliability of the driver circuit and to reduce noise, power consumption, and heat. Further, the method of the present invention smoothly performs a sustain discharge to prevent a degradation of image quality.</p> |
