摘要 <p>Disclosed is a dyed plastic lens fabrication method that makes it possible to control deformation and discoloration of the plastic lens, and makes it possible to achieve uniform, high-concentration dying without irregularities, even in plastic lenses with refractive indexes, preferably, of 1.7 or greater, especially 1.7-1.8. Specifically, the dyed plastic lens fabrication method comprises step (1) wherein a sublimation dye is applied to a glass substrate, step (2) wherein the plastic lens is arranged so that the surface of a plastic lens to be dyed is facing the surface of the aforementioned substrate to which the sublimation dye was applied, and then the sublimation dye applied to the substrate is caused to be sublimated by heating the substrate obtained in the aforementioned step (1) under a vacuum of 1 × 104 Pa or less, and said sublimated dye is adhered to the surface of said lens to be dyed, without impregnating the aforementioned plastic lens, and step (3) wherein the sublimation dye applied to said plastic lens is impregnated into the lens by heat treating the plastic lens with the sublimation dye applied obtained in the aforementioned step (2). Further, the plastic lens will also be easily uniformly dyed at high concentration without irregularities by using a plastic lens in which the surface to be dyed has been plasma treated.</p>
