<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cyclic depsipeptide using physiological activity. <P>SOLUTION: Kulokekahilide-6A and kulolelahilide-6B were newly found as new cyclic specific depsipeptides useful as anticancer agents by paying an attention on a marine carnivorous mollusc, Philinopsis speciosa, fractionating the extract of the Philinopsis speciosa, succeeding to isolate a pure active peptide, and trying the synthesis of the isomers of a kulokekahilide-2 analogue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
