<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for recording which contains an antifoaming agent not to have an adverse effect on the storage stability even for the case of adding to such an extent as displays the antifoaming ability; an ink cartridge accepting the ink for use in recording in a container; an inkjet recording apparatus mounting the ink cartridge; and a method for inkjet recording by using the recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The ink for recording contains at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a pigment and polymer microparticles, wherein the ink for recording is such that the polymer microparticles are silicone-modified polymer microparticles obtained by copolymerizing a reactive group-substituted polydimethylsiloxane and a reactive monomer; (2) the ink for recording described in (1) is such that the polymer microparticles have the surfaces with bonded polydimethylsiloxane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
