<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal sheet which is composed of magnesium alloy and has high rigidity though it is made thin, and a method of manufacturing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A rolled sheet 1 made of a magnesium alloy has the body 10 of the rolled sheet and projecting lines 20 which are integrated in the body 10 and each of which has the length of ten or more times the thickness of the body 10. The projecting lines 20 improve rigidity of the rolled sheet 1 remarkably since the projecting lines perform the part of a rib. Such the rolled sheet 1 is obtained by preparing a rolling roll R having recessed grooves G on its outer periphery and rolling the base stock composed of the magnesium alloy with the rolling roll R.
