PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the service life of an airtight material for a rear door, by securing airtight performance of the airtight material for the rear door. SOLUTION: A central projection part 7 for slantingly installing the elastic airtight material 9 for the rear door in the oblique upward direction or the oblique downward direction, is arranged in the center of a rear part 6a of an upper cover 6 arranged in an upper end part of an entering opening part 4. This door device of an elevator is constituted so that a recessed part 10 respectively opening in front Y and on the outside Z is formed in a corner part 2c of the rear door 2, and one end part 9a in the lateral direction M of the airtight material 9 for the rear door is introduced to the recessed part 10 and raised up in the inclining direction in the middle of moving the rear door 2 in the closing direction Q from an opening state.
