<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image capturing apparatus and an X-ray image capturing system capable of continuously capturing an absorption image and a phase image with a same image capturing apparatus, requiring a smaller installation space than that of the conventional one, having a simple operation and requiring no complicated control means. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This X-ray image capturing apparatus includes; an angle analyzer which separates X-rays irradiated from an X-ray source into the X-rays for the absorption image and the phase image; a disposition change means which changes the disposition of the angle analyzer into such manners as disposing the angle analyzer outside an image capturing region when an absorption image capturing mode is input and disposing the angle analyzer inside the capturing region at an angle corresponding to a phase image capturing mode when the phase image capturing mode is input; and an X-ray image detector which is adapted to detect the X-ray for the absorption image irradiated from the X-ray source and output the image data of the absorption image when the absorption image capturing mode is input and to detect the X-ray for the phase image separated by the angle analyzer and output the image data of the phase image when the phase image capturing mode is input.
