The friction-increasing layer on a component obtained by centrifuging of hard material particles (3) on a surface acting as connecting surface (2) of the component, is claimed. The hard material particles are brought into the connecting surface of the component, where the entire or part of the surface of the hard material particles forms a material contact with the material of the component and the connecting surface (0-5% or 5-20%) is covered with the hard material particles. The layer is manufactured by a thermal injection process e.g. cold gas spraying or high-speed flame spraying process.
