The arrangement (24) has a lining part (26) movably held in an area of a pivotable wheel (28) of an automobile (10) independent of pivoting movement of the wheel. The lining part has an air inlet opening (36), and cool air is supplied to the wheel through the air inlet opening. The lining part is arranged adjacent to the wheel in a transverse direction of the automobile such that a small gap (32) is formed between the wheel and the lining part. A flexible seal is provided at the lining part, and a brake device is attached to the wheel.
