The method involves providing seats (2) in interior of a vehicle (1). A maximal cooling capacity, a maximal air-mass flow and/or direct supply of heated air for air conditioning zones (I-IV) is maintained in a cooling operation with high required cooling capacity. The zones are ideally determined by acceleration sensors (3). A maximal heating capacity, the maximal air-mass flow and/or direct supply of heated air for the air conditioning zones are maintained in a heating operation with high required heating capacity.
