<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of reducing soldering flux rise and enhancing wiring design flexibility without need of special processing of such a thing as a groove or additional processing of such a thing as a nickel dam, for one equipped with a contact protruded toward a housing as the contact is formed in a flat-plate tab shape. <P>SOLUTION: The contact 20 of the electric connector 1 includes a substrate 21 formed in a flat-plate tab shape and extended back and forth against the housing 10, a contact 24 extended upward from the substrate 21 and protruded forward from the housing 10, and a soldering connection 25 solder-connected on a printed circuit board PCB fitted under the substrate 21.
