PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply device capable of performing lock of a tank and release of the lock without making a device large in size and high in cost, and to provide a printing device with the liquid supply device. SOLUTION: A cartridge attaching part 15 of an inkjet printer 1 includes: a compression spring 102 energizing an ink cartridge 17 to a backward side in an attaching direction; a lock mechanism 71 locking the ink cartridge 17 attached against energizing force of the compression spring 102; and a lock release mechanism 80 releasing the lock of the ink cartridge 17 by the lock mechanism 71. The lock mechanism 71 has: a lever 73 supported to be turnable with a turning shaft O as center; an engaging pin 74 provided at one end 73a of the lever 73 to be engaged with the ink cartridge 17 by turning of the lever 73 in one direction; and a tension spring 78 energizing the lever 73 in a turning direction that is the one direction.
