The unit has a locking edge (4) formed at an opening (8) that is penetrated into a wall of a component (1) i.e. housing cover. A locking hook (3) includes a locking head (3b) with a locking lug (3c). A recess (9) for receiving the head is formed in a rubber-elastic component (5). The rubber-elastic component closes the opening at a side of the component in a waterproof manner, where the side includes the edge. The rubber-elastic component is in contact with a surface that is engaged beneath by the lug, and partially occupies a space loaded by the lug when the edge is engaged at the bottom.
