The present invention relates to a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primer set for detecting mycoplasma, a kit for detecting mycoplasma comprising the same, and a mycoplasma detection method employing the same. The present invention provides a primer for detecting mycoplasma, comprising the base sequences of the first through thirteenth sequence in the sequence listing. Without recourse to a direct culturing method, the method of the present invention enables rapid, accurate and highly sensitive detection of not only mycoplasma which give rise to infection in the human body including the lungs and reproductive organs but also mycoplasma which are a frequent source of contamination in cell culturing and in the production, storage, administration, in-vitro manipulation and culturing of biological medicinal products. |
