The drum drive has an electric motor (13) driving the drive using drive energy provided by a generator (9). The generator is driven by a separate engine (6) i.e. diesel engine. A joint shaft (7) is arranged between the engine and the generator. The generator is arranged between the engine and a lorry transmission of a vehicle power train. A controller (10) is present between the generator and the motor for regulating supply of the energy from the generator to the motor. The motor is connected with a mixing drum (2) by a mixer gear (8). |
