Clear carrier compositions for lipophilic compounds, and method of treating keratinous substrates using such compositions

The present invention relates to a composition comprising:
(a) at least one alkoxylated monoamine;
(b) at least one organic acid chosen from alkyl acids, alkoxylated monoacids, and mixtures thereof;
(c) at least one lipophilic compound; and
(d) at least one solvent comprising water. Such a composition is clear in appearance, and stable. The present invention also relates to a method of making such a clear composition, and to a method of cosmetic treatment of a keratinous substrate using such a composition.
