The indicator (1) has a set of indicator elements (2-6) arranged on a common carrier (8). The indicator elements irreversibly change its properties by color change depending on cleaning action of a cleaning process. The dependency on the cleaning action is selected differently for each of the individual indicator elements. The indicator elements change the properties as soon as the cleaning action reaches a predetermined threshold value. The indicator elements are arranged with respect to its threshold values. The carrier is made of plastic, waterproof paper-plastic laminate, metal foil or metal foil laminate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a testing unit comprising a cleaning indicator (2) a method for testing cleaning processes. |
