DRIVE OF CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE

A drive of circular knitting machine has an electric motor connected by means of friction variable-speed drive to vertical drive shaft at the ends of which cylindrical pinions are rigidly fixed. The friction variable-speed drive is chosen as frontal one, it has roller installed on the shaft of electric motor. A disc with working surface and a spring are connected to each other and installed on the vertical drive shaft. The disc working surface is arranged as curvilinear one.
