PURPOSE: An apparatus for transferring and dividing a brittle material substrate is provided to reduce construction costs of a system by miniaturizing the system composition for dividing a glass plate and to omit a device for returning the brittle material substrate. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transferring and dividing a brittle material substrate comprises: a scribble table(2) in which the brittle material substrate is placed; a scribe head(3) which is formed to be movable to a X-axis and is used for forming a dividing groove on the brittle material substrate; a brake table(4) which is arranged on the opposite side from the scribe table and which the brittle material substrate is placed; and a pair of pliers(5) which returns the brittle material substrate and divides the brittle material substrate.
