<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved contact catalyst for producing propylene from a hydrocarbon supply raw material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A catalyst blend comprising a first catalyst containing large pore diameter molecular sieve and a second catalyst containing middle or small pore diameter molecular sieve is used. In such a case, the second catalyst containing the middle or small pore diameter molecular sieve contains a metal selected from zinc, copper or the mixture deposited on the second catalyst containing the middle or small pore diameter molecular sieve.
