PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mirror unit capable of accelerating range-finding start time. SOLUTION: The mirror unit includes: a first mirror; a second mirror; a first mirror-holding member which is arranged to be rotatable around a rotary shaft arranged on an upper side than an optical path of incident light, holds the first mirror, and allows the first mirror to descend to a first mirror down-position, and ascend to a first mirror up-position; and a second mirror-holding member which has an auxiliary part arranged on a more descending side than the first mirror holding member to be rotatable around a rotary shaft that is the same as or parallel with the rotary shaft of the first mirror-holding member and to descend independently of the first mirror holding member, and a mirror holding part coupled with the auxiliary part to be relatively rotatable around a rotary shaft parallel with the rotary shaft of the auxiliary part and holding the second mirror, and allows the second mirror to descend to a second mirror down-position, and ascend to a second mirror up-position.
