PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering tool having a first decorative body and a second decorative body to enhance the feeling of luxury of an object such as a displaying part covered with a cover body, reducing the material cost of the cover body as well as the thickness of the cover body while maintaining strength, and reducing the cost of the covering tool, thereby reducing the cost of a display device, and to provide a display device provided with the covering tool. SOLUTION: The covering tool is provided with: a frame-shaped cover body 1 that covers the front side of a periphery of the display device; and the first decorative body 2 and the second decorative body 3, which are mounted on the lower part of the cover body 1. The cover body 1 has a locking part 11 for locking the first decorative body 2 and a mounting part 12 on which the second decorative body 3 is mounted. The first decorative body 2 has a locked part 22 which is locked by the locking part 11. The second decorative body 3 has a mounted part 31 which is mounted on the mounting part 12.
