PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in circuit scale and drive a bidirectional switch. SOLUTION: A bidirectional switch drive circuit (1) drives a bidirectional switch (10) including first and second sources (S1, S2) and first and second gates (G1, G2). The bidirectional switch drive circuit includes a first power supply unit (40) that supplies power for driving the first gate (G1) at a voltage relative to the first source (S1), and a second power supply unit (50) that drives the second gate (G2) at a voltage relative to the second source (S2). The first and second power supply units (40, 50) are supplied with power from a common power supply (30). The bidirectional switch drive circuit includes a switching element that, when the bidirectional switch (10) is off, interrupts a path from the first source (S1) to the power supply (30) by way of the first power supply unit (40).
