PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a massage chair provided with a structure for massaging the shoulders of a user, sitting on a seat, by left and right air bags, wherein the air bags do not hinder the user from sitting on the seat or the like, and the air bags effectively massage the user according to the body type of the user. SOLUTION: In the massage chair provided with the pair of air bags 17 disposed facing each other on both left and right sides of a backrest 3 to execute pressurizing massage to the user, the pair of air bags 17 is mounted to the backrest 3 through a position switching mechanism 20 for freely switching a use state in which the pair projects forward from the backrest 3 and a storage state in which the pair is retracted rearward from the position of the use state.
