OPTICAL MULTI-LAYER THIN FILM, OPTICAL ELEMENT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multi-layer thin film provided with a resin layer and an outermost layer and capable of forming the resin layer inexpensively in a short time.

SOLUTION: The optical multi-layer thin film 4 includes one resin layer 3 or more formed on an optical face 2a of an optical basic material 2 and the outermost layer 5 formed on an outer side of the resin layer 3 and having smaller refractive index than that of the optical basic material 2. A material of the resin layer 3 is a cured precursor composition of active energy ray curing resin. The outermost layer 5 contains many MgF2particles and amorphous silicon oxide binder that exists among these MgF2particles. By applying active energy ray on the precursor composition of active energy ray curing resin, the resin layer 3 can be formed on an upper side of the optical basic material 2.
