PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu display device capable of displaying much more items.

SOLUTION: The menu display device includes: a display section 182 for displaying selectable menu items in a plurality of lines; a menu item selection section 184 for selecting one of the menu items; and a control section 170 for executing control so that when the menu item is selected by the menu item section 184, the plurality of lines are displayed in an overlapped state, the line including the selected menu item is displayed at a forefront, and a selection item corresponding to the selected menu item is displayed under the selected menu item.
