<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RAID control device for restoring recorded data and a data recording control method using RAID even when the reproduction failure of data recorded in a plurality of disk devices is generated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A recording control device 20 makes recording devices 10-13 record one RAID data by uniquely recording a plurality of RAID configuration data, when each device is made to record one RAID data, so that the address position of the recording medium of one recording device in which RAID configuration data belonging to the RAID data are recorded and the address position of the recording medium of the other recording device in which the second RAID configuration data belonging to the RAID data are recorded can be made different from each other on the recording area of each recording medium.
