<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet having easy mold release property and improving the yield while maintaining defect concealing property, and also to provide a roll mold, and a method for manufacturing the roll mold. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A prism sheet 1 is provided, which allows the light incident to a sheet entrance surface 3 to propagate inside and to exit from a sheet exit surface 5, and the sheet is provided with: a prism pattern comprising a plurality of projections 41 formed on the sheet entrance surface 3; and a plurality of recesses 63, which are smaller in the size of projections and recesses than the projections 51, and are formed only in an area below the center in a height direction of each projection 51 constituting the prism pattern 19.
