PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition, wherein raw materials can be easily handled to prepare, being excellent in its transparency, and capable of providing a hardened composition having excellent mechanical property and adhesiveness. SOLUTION: A one-component hardening composition comprising (A) a silicon group-containing organic polymer which may be cross-linked by forming a siloxane bond; (B) a metal carboxylate; and (C) a carboxylic acid of a molar quantity which is smaller than the molar quantity of the metal carboxylate of component (B), wherein the composition comprises component (B) of 0.01 to 20 wt.%, and component (C) of 0.01 to 20 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of component (A), and (D) an amine compound of 0.01 to 20 wt.%, and amino group-containing silanes of 0.1 to 20 wt.% based on 100 wt.% of component (A).
