The injector (1) has a manifold (2) for receiving pressurized fuel and provided with a fuel inlet (3), and an injector holder (4) connected with the manifold via a connecting channel. The manifold is fixed to an internal combustion engine by a fastening element i.e. stud bolt, guided through a sleeve shaped fastening seat (6). The fastening seat is joined with the manifold by a solder joint (9). The holder is arranged on a side (11) of the seat lying opposite to the joint, and the channel holds the fastening seat in a longitudinal direction of a through hole (7) for the fastening element.
