PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional system that a motor steps out under a certain circumstance and the operation is disabled, because a phase difference becomes large is a pulse generator using a rate multi, when generating speed frequency pulses for a stepping motor. SOLUTION: As a remedy for this, it is made a pulse generator, which adds a reference oscillation clock with a binary adder of the number of bits which ensures necessary resolution, and takes out a logical bit from information about a bit position within a phase register and computes an appropriate pulse generated position thereby generating the set number of pulses.
