PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless apparatus capable of suppressing contention of a time slot to be used with a hidden terminal. SOLUTION: The wireless apparatus 1 creates a time slot use status SLU 5 and receives time slot use statuses SLU6-SLU9 from wireless apparatuses 2-5, respectively. The wireless apparatus 1 then arithmetically operates an OR of the time slot use statuses SLU5-SLU9 to create a time slot use status table 114-2. In the time slot use status table 114-2, add2-add5 represent neighboring apparatuses of the wireless apparatuses 1 and add6-add11 represent hidden terminals for the wireless apparatus 1. Then, since all time slots are used, the wireless apparatus 1 selects any arbitrary one of time slots #3, #5, #8 and #9 that the neighboring wireless apparatuses are using, as a time slot for transmitting a routine packet.
