PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having excellent controlling effectiveness against harmful organisms. SOLUTION: The harmful organism controlling composition contains an organic sulfur compound represented by formula (I) (wherein Cy, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, m, and n mean the ones as described in the specification) and an ester compound represented by formula (II) (wherein X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>, X<SP>3</SP>, and X<SP>4</SP>mean the ones as described in the specification).
