PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication method for reducing time required for setup, and to provide a radio communication system. SOLUTION: In the radio communication method, radio waves are used for radio communication. Quasi-omni beams are used as radio waves. Beam forming required for radio communication is performed. In this case, a beam former (10) for transmitting radio waves decides the best transmission direction of the quasi-omni beams to be transmitted from a plurality of transmission directions. Then, a combiner (20) receiving radio waves decides the best reception direction of the quasi-omni beams to be received from a plurality of reception directions.
