<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-story building with a hydraulic power generating system efficiently generating electric power. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When an operating valve 5 is opened with rainwater accumulated in a roof reservoir 3, the rainwater is made to flow through a communication pipe 4 and a main deodorization pipe 22 as shown by an arrow A, and hydraulic power generation is performed by a hydraulic power generating device 6. If there are no such operating valve 5 and reservoir 3, the rainwater runs down continually. In the case of light rain and a low rainwater flow rate, there is a possibility that the hydraulic power generation is not performed. The operating valve 5 and the reservoir 3 are provided for accumulating the rainwater, and power generation efficiency is improved by opening the operating valve 5 when the rainwater is sufficiently accumulated.
