<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positional accuracy of a cavity insert in a constitution in which the temperature of the cavity insert is controlled to be different from the temperature of a template body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mold 1 for injection molding has a template body 4 in which an arrangement space 41 is formed along the mold opening/closing direction Z and a fixed cavity insert 5 arranged in the arrangement space 41. The fixed cavity insert 5 is controlled at a temperature different from the temperature of the template body 4. The mold 1 is additionally provided with a wedge member 46 which is installed to surround the fixed cavity insert 5 between the peripheral surface of the fixed cavity insert 5 and the inner circumference surface of the template body 4. With regard to surfaces of the wedge member 46 and the template body 4 which face each other, each of the facing surfaces is an inclined surface inclined to the mold opening/closing direction Z. Before the fixed cavity insert 5 is expanded thermally, a clearance is formed between the surfaces of the wedge member 46 and the template body 4 which face each other.
