The invention is a tool for measuring and marking materials such as wall sheathing, including drywall, vaneer, paneling, and various other wall sheathing or other materials. The tool includes a corner tracker to provide rolling or sliding contact along the top surface and edge of a workpiece to protect finished surfaces and also to maintain parallel positioning to maximize measuring and marking accuracy. The tool further includes a measuring tape having an end tab with a slot for selectively receiving a headed pin affixed to a marking or cutting implement. The tool also may include a calibration system including an offset visual measuring indicator for precision measuring and marking.
