PURPOSE: A fumaric acid diester copolymer is provided to maintain cured film properties including hardening property and weatherproof property, to obtain excellent adhesive force with a base material, and to be suitably used as paint, ink, an adhesive, and printing materials. CONSTITUTION: A fumaric acid diester copolymer comprises repeating units which are respectively marked by chemical formula 1-4. The fumaric acid diester copolymer has an average molecular weight of 5,000-60,000. A repeating unit which is marked by chemical formula 3 is included in the amount of 220-1130g/mol based on the molar equivalent of a carboxyl group of the copolymer. In chemical formula 1, R^1 and R^2 are a branched alkyl group having a carbon number of 3-8, a cycloalkyl group having a carbon number of 4-12, or a substituted and branched cycloalkyl group.
