摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of reliability and durability of a cell by nearly uniformly cooling the whole cell just enough, to achieve a high output and high efficiency, and additionally to correspond to downsizing required at vehicle mounting. <P>SOLUTION: The solid-oxide fuel cell is provided by laminating reformers carrying out steam reforming by passing hydrocarbon fuel gas through reforming catalyst, and cells each carrying out power generation by flowing reforming gas having steam reforming carried out in the reformer along a fuel electrode pinching an electrolyte layer with an air electrode. By nearly matching a flowing direction of the hydrocarbon fuel gas passing through the reforming catalyst of the reformer, and a flowing direction of reforming gas flowing along the fuel electrode of the cell, an endothermic amount distribution by steam reforming reaction of the reformers and heat generation amount distribution by power generation reaction of the cells are made nearly matched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
