<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast reception device capable of efficiently storing a digital TV broadcast program when storing the digital TV broadcast program in an HDD or the like by the digital broadcast reception device with the HDD or the like incorporated therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast reception device can receive a digital broadcast service recorded in an incorporated storage means, and reproduce a recorded content. The digital broadcast reception device includes at least: a tuner means to receive a digital broadcast; a transmission line demodulation means to demodulate a reception stream received by the tuner means to a transport stream; a storage means to record the transport stream demodulated by the transmission line demodulation means; an error detection processing means to detect an error of the reception stream during demodulation by the transmission line demodulation means; and a storage control means to control the storage means based on the detection result in the error detection processing means.
