The instrument (1) has an elongate shaft (2) that is clamped at a shaft end (3), where the shaft has an end including a working part (4) with a rotation symmetric working area (5) for abrasively decreasing surface area of a body extremity e.g. nail. The working area protrudes from a shaft diameter. The working area is defined on the end by a rounded portion (6) in a dome-like structure (7), where the end is provided opposite to the shaft end. The structure is not provided with a surface area treating function inherent to the working area. An independent claim is also included for a pre-product for manufacturing a working part of a treatment instrument. |
