The device i.e. hydraulic element (1), has a piston (4) displaceably arranged in a cylinder. The piston is secured in a normal position with a load up to a nominal load by fluid against the cylinder, where the fluid is arranged at the cylinder. The hydraulic element comprises an overload valve (9). The overload valve releases a flow channel (13) for the fluid during overload, so that the displacement of the piston takes place at the cylinder. The overload valve is arranged within the cylinder, and the piston is connected with a piston rod (3).
