<p>PURPOSE: A brake monitoring system and a method thereof are provided to measure, record, and transfer the actual brake pressure of a vehicle in real time. CONSTITUTION: A brake monitoring system(10) comprises plural axles, plural brake actuators(12) and an engine controlling module. Each brake actuators are connected with the axles. The system also comprises a sensor(16) to measures the brake lining wearing rate and the brake pressure in real time, and to generate first and second signals. The first and second signals are received by a chassis communication module(20). The chassis communication module detects the defect condition of a brake using the first and second signals.</p> |
