METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING PROGRAM SEARCH SERVICE OF ANOTHER CHANNEL WHILE BROADCASTING PROGRAM

PURPOSE: A method and a device for providing a program search service of other channel while broadcasting a program are provided to provide recommended program list of currently broadcasting program and other program which is broadcasted at neighboring time by a rank. CONSTITUTION: A program list providing unit(345) provides recommendation program list which is arranged based on prediction viewing rate among other programs in orders. Programs of the other channel are broadcasted in broadcasting time and neighboring time of program during broadcasting. A search region providing unit(346) receives program search service request of other channel form bidirectional broadcast terminal. The search region providing unit provides search area providing program information of each channel and a recommend program list to the bidirectional broadcasting terminal.
